LONDON FASHION DAY’S SECOND SEASON: STYLE + CREATIVITY

London Fashion Day, one of the most highly anticipated events in the fashion world, returned for its second season on October 29th, and it certainly did not disappoint. This season’s event is being hailed as a dazzling celebration of innovation and style, leaving attendees and fashion enthusiasts in awe.

The event’s founder, Konstantin Lieontiev, expressed his immense pride and joy for London Fashion Day. This season, the event featured an impressive lineup of 11 exceptional brands hailing from the United Kingdom and Europe. However, what truly set this season apart was its exciting partnership with Odessa Fashion Day. This collaboration brought runway shows by four outstanding Ukrainian brands into the spotlight, marking a new era for both London Fashion Day and Ukrainian designers. The primary goal of this partnership is to propel Ukrainian fashion onto the international stage, presenting their distinctive collections to potential buyers in the United Kingdom.

Despite the challenging times we face, Ukrainian designers persist in creating collections that rival globally renowned fashion brands. Their dedication and innovative designs are a testament to Ukraine’s rising prominence in the fashion industry.

Konstantin Lieontiev expressed his satisfaction with showcasing five collections by Ukrainian designers, stating, “In such challenging times for all Ukrainians, I am immensely pleased that they continue to shape the future.”

 

 

The physical runway show schedule was thoughtfully curated to offer a diverse range of styles and designs, featuring both established and emerging brands. The lineup included names like Luxurious Loops, WATABABESWIMWEAR, Fomenko Oleg, RUTA, Laura TAILORING, Sofi Rich, EXEMPLAR, FREYA VANADIS, SIDLETSKYI, SEMENENKO, and Somy London.

 

 

Adding to the enchantment of the event was its unique and picturesque setting at St. John’s Church, 18 Hyde Park Cres, Tyburnia, London W2 2QD. The beautiful backdrop added an extra layer of charm to the already magnificent affair.
